Notes from the
show:
"Our second trip back
to The Burg started out a little quirky. As we
raced into our second song of our first set we tripped a
circuit breaker and the show came to a screaming halt
(twice) until our sound/light technicians were able to work
out the issue. It seems that something got plugged
into somewhere that it shouldn't have been and that's just
the way it goes. Thankfully, the audience seemed to
shrug off the technical difficulty easily and we were off
and running fairly quickly. It was a descent sized
crowd that came out to enjoy the show. We are still
not yet sporting all the fancy lighting gadgets that are due
by the time we play some of the upcoming outdoor festivals,
but nonetheless the light show has reached a new level.
I was very pleased to see my friends Jory, Corey, and Mandy
once again. Seeing friends like that always pumps me
up! My fiancé took the night off from taking pictures,
so we recruited Reggie to snap some photos during the show.
Someday, I'm going to break down and get a real digital
camera that doesn't make it so difficult to snap pictures of
moving objects (people). There were a couple of
birthdays in the audience that we were happy to help
celebrate and we hope you both enjoy your complimentary
"Sonic Rush T-Shirts". As always, we had a great time
playing for all of you people...and we'll be looking forward
to doing it again real soon. This year...the fireworks
start on July 3rd in Lone Rock! Hope to see you all
there! :-D
