Notes from the
show:
"Ironically, it was
here in North Freedom that we first shared the stage
together (one year ago). I wouldn't be very honest if
I didn't admit that I'm looking forward to playing more and
more gigs in doors soon. As soon as the sun goes down,
everything cools off very quickly and there is a tendency
for all the equipment to gather dew. All of that
condensation wrecks havoc on all the electrical equipment
over time.
The crowd was fairly
subdued and mingled towards the back of the viewing grounds
for most of the night. Although there were a few brave
souls who came face to face with us as we tried to get our
groove on. We had a pretty early start time (8pm) and
there was a baseball game going on behind the band for most
of the night. We were even interrupted at one point to
be warned that there might be an errant baseball landing
near us (while we playing) due to the fact that a "homerun
contest" was in progress. Needless, to say that I
didn't feel very comfortable about that especially after I
saw one ball hit over the fence (behind us) and nearly miss
my truck which was parked nearby.
Chris seemed happy to
debut his new "Bad Horsie" (mirror) guitar on stage. I
guess I can't be the only one on stage with all the fancy
gadgets. ;-D
