Notes from the
show:
"It just keeps getting
better every time we play The Burg. It was
pretty awesome to look out into the crowd and recognize so
many people. From the front to the back, everyone was
pretty into what we were doing on stage and that's a great
feeling.
As usual, the show had
its share of challenges to overcome...Pork (our soundman)
couldn't make it, so we had Pete fill in for him. Pete
did a great job balancing everyone's needs on stage and
keeping things hot out front. I attempted a new take
on my "guitar solo" and it was going great until the
wireless pack on the bass rig behind me decided to blow up
causing a loud, distracting sound. We still don't know
what caused that to happen, but it was a little embarrassing
to have it happen right then and there.
One of the nicer
surprises was to see Dave and Andy from another local band,
Zaniac.
Dave and Andy joined on stage for one of three
improvisational jams that we had that night. Thanks
for hanging out with us! And, guest guitar player,
Josh, took over lead guitar duties during, "Crazy Train".
We had a lot fun
playing for you all and we're looking forward to seeing you
all next Friday at The Dry Bean. Rock on!
