Notes from the
show:
"It's unusual when I
get sick as it does not happen very often, but I was nursing
a pretty nasty head cold at this show. And (as I type
this), I'm still battling it. It can be difficult to
stay focused enough to keep playing and act like I feel
great even though I felt like curling up into a ball and
going to sleep. Despite my illness, the Lancaster
crowd showed us a great time!
Thanks to Kathy for bringing out her
group of friends to enjoy to the show. :)
Many thanks to Jeremy for doing everything he could to make
us comfortable during our problems packing up the equipment. Fubar's has some
of the best tasting burgers and I don't think it was just
because it was 2am. They even picked us up a container
of cappuccinos to keep us going while we loaded out and they
let us stay as long as possible while our issues were sorted out."

Sonic Rush...from all of us at Fubar's
Kurt, Kyle, Pete, Chris, and Greg...we all had "the Sonic
Rush" time of our life. Even though we had a slow night
there, there has been nothing but excellent conversation
around town about what they had missed at the Sonic Rush
show at Fubar's.

energy that is unbelievable!
Greg, if you weren't feeling good that night, I can't wait
to watch your guitar playing when you are in the groove.
Kurt and Chris, as lead vocalist and multi instrumental
musicians, you amazed me on your performance.
Pete, I never really got to meet you but I was in the back
by the sound guy and when you broke out AC/DC third song
first set was bad ass good. That was the song that
woke me up. Hope to talk to you more the next time.
Kyle what do you say to a good drummer; a good drummer is
always hard to find, and sonic rush has one. Watching
you back there gave me a beat and a fucking smile, also
Chris and Kyle tell the old man to cut his mop.
Now apparently the sound guy is one half of "pork and beans"
but I had a good time shooting the shit with him.
