Notes from the
show:
"Mother nature
brought the season's first significant snow fall one day
before our show in Dodgeville. Thankfully, the snow
didn't stick around long enough to complicate the roads.
There were many familiar faces in the crowd and that always
pumps us up to put on a show! There were also many
people that came out to check us out based on the popular
band buzz that's been going around and we always get geeked
about adding to our growing fan base.
It was nice to have
"Beans" (our lights guy) back on lighting duties.
People may not realize all the time and effort this guy puts
forth during our production to make sure the show looks
cool. If you see "Pork" (our sound man) or
"Beans" by the sound board, make sure you stop by and
drop a compliment their way once in awhile. They
appreciate it!
BTW...a couple fellas
actually did mention something to our soundman during our
first set. According to "Pork", we were accused of
"faking it"??? Apparently, we sounded too good to be
true and our soundman was accused of "running tracks" to
which we were faking our performance (a.k.a. "The Ashley
Simpson Incident"). These guys qualified themselves as
being wise to what was going on because they've been
involved in that sort of work before. Uh...hmmm...gee,
thanks for the compliment (I guess). I can assure you
though, we do not "run tracks" and there is nothing fake
about our performance. Pretty funny though to be
accused of such a thing. :)
The Red Room staff was
wonderful (as usual) and many thanks to them for inviting us
back for our third trip in less than year. Each time
we come to town, there are more and more people coming out
to enjoy the show. And that's a great feeling!
The buzz is going around...but, we couldn't do it without
the help of all you crazy Sonic Rush fans!!!
