SONIC RUSH is a southern Wisconsin
rock and roll band that was formed in the Spring of 2002 by founding members
Crisco and Kurt. Their purpose was to form a band that would model the
energy and excitement of the 70's, 80's, and 90's rock and roll era. Through
constant performing, Sonic Rush perfected a performance worthy of fan
appreciation and support.
In July of 2005, Sonic Rush won Sauk County Fair’s
"Bud
Light Battle Of The Bands"
amid some very stiff competition.
In late 2005, Sonic Rush added three new members to their lineup which
include Pedro (bass) and Kyle (drums). An accomplished bass player, Pete now
brings to Sonic Rush the experience he gained in a band called, "Shock
Radio". Kyle performed nationally in a band called, "Love Gun" before
forming "Shaman Spell" in 1995. Following their full-length 1997 self-titled
CD release, "Shaman Spell", they opened for such acts as Tesla, Candlebox,
Ratt, and Jackyl. Sonic Rush proudly welcomes their experience!
Recent Sonic Rush shows include a major corporate
show in Madison, Wisconsin attended by 1700 people, two consecutive years at
Wisconsin's Border Riders Biker Fest attended by 5000 people, and three
shows as the opening band for Jimmy VanZant's "Evening with Lynyrd Skynyrd".
The most recent occurred in February of 2006. Within the upcoming year,
Sonic Rush is scheduled to play many local and regional outdoor festivals.
The members of Sonic Rush understand the importance
of fan support. Their appreciation for that support is genuine and is
expressly returned with a professional, energy-driven performance. Fans are
encouraged to mingle with the band members during breaks as they always
enjoy meeting new friends.
And we'll be looking forward to meeting you!
